Our high-quality, handcrafted items are made to be enjoyed for many years and handed down to future generations. To ensure sustainability, we carefully select and use natural kiln-dried hardwoods such as Maple, Walnut, and Cherry that have been responsibly sourced. Our products are made for use with Food and/or in making Children’s products. Therefore, all materials and finishes used in our products are carefully selected to ensure they are safe for their intended use.

+ What finishes are used for your products?

All of our products are finished using products made by The Real Milk Paint Company (RMP). Our Personalized Name Puzzles and Alphabet Boards are finished using RMP’s Cutting Board Oil. These pieces are made to order so we wanted a finish with a fast '“cure time” without compromising the quality of the finish. Additionally, RMP’s Cutting Board Oil leaves a low-luster finish that leaves a low-luster sheen that enhances the natural beauty and feel of the wood. Our Charcutetray Collection requires added protection so they can be freely used with food items without worry of water exposure damaging the piece. For this reason, our Charcutetray Collection is finished using RMP’s Half & Half Tung Oil. This finish is a water-proofing agent that is applied as a liquid and undergoes a chemical process called polymerization causing the liquid to thicken and harden. The result is a highly durable, water-proof finish that has a glossy sheen while retaining the natural beauty and feel of the wood.
